Terms & Conditions

PLEASE NOTE: When a class is booked you agree to Young Artist terms, conditions & cancellation policy. You agree to hold Nicki or any Young Artist tutor harmless for any injuries and/or damages sustained during lessons either at home, Chiswick art space or at any another location including travel time.

Young artist will supply most art materials for planned lessons. (special requests i.e canvas/ seasonal projects may incur an additional charge) Keen artists are recommended to purchase their own set of materials which we can provide a a recommended list. 

Teachers will be with you for up to one, one & half hours or 2 hours. Set up & packing away time is included within this time. Teachers are to clean allocated teaching area of all art materials & mess. Please be aware that teachers are on a pre organised teaching schedule & need to adhere to times to ensure they keep to their appointments. Teachers will not be able to wait with children past the allocated time without payment. All phone contact with teachers is through 07811378073. This is also the number in case of emergency.

Weekend at home, holiday classes & private tuition 2 hour minimum.

Teacher illness – we will endeavour to replace teacher for that session or you will be credited with cost of individual session.

If your address is in congestion charge or has parking costs there will be an addition charge for parking.

Group classes are term time for a minimum of 10 weeks not including bank holidays, half terms & school  holidays.

Group classes are to be paid for by one payment source each term in advance. If your child is unable to attend a class due to illness or other commitments no refund is available. If your child is unable to continue the course no refund is available. It is possible to replace your child with another child that you know.

Please inform us of:  any medical conditions, if there is a change of person picking up your child or if that person is not known to us.

Private tuitions are to be paid for a half term in advance. Cancellation of a class must be made 48 hours prior to the lesson or that lesson must be paid for in full. Cancellation of a half term of lessons once a half term has commenced requires one week notice. Less than one week notice has an administration charge of £45.

Please provide cover for table if you would like to protect it from art materials.  Children will need to bring aprons or wear old clothes.

Please let the teacher know which sink can be used for washing up & bin for rubbish disposal.
